Gondia district, a tribal-dominated and Naxal-affected region, requires focused development initiatives to uplift both its urban and rural areas. Government public welfare schemes should be effectively promoted to ensure their benefits reach local communities. To strengthen administrative capacity, efforts must be made to cultivate a competitive environment among the district’s youth, encouraging them to pursue careers in public service through rigorous examinations. Additionally, prioritizing healthcare infrastructure and services is essential to safeguard the well-being of the population.
In pursuit of these goals, Dinbandhu Gramin Vikas Sanstha, Deori (DGV Sanstha, Deori), a social organization, was established on 2nd June 2014. Founded by Mr. Kuldip Lanjewar (President of DGV Sanstha), the organization is dedicated to fostering holistic development in both urban and rural communities across the district.
DGVS is dedicated to providing orphaned and destitute children with a home-like environment, nurturing their dreams with education, warmth and hope for a brighter future.
Organizing health check-up camps for the poor who cannot afford medical care, ensuring early diagnosis and better access to treatment.
Helping tribal and other community students pursue higher education and prepare for administrative services through competitive exam support.
Creating employment opportunities for educated but unemployed rural youth in various fields, empowering them for a better future.
Distributing clothes to the needy in Naxal-affected tribal areas, ensuring warmth and dignity for those in need.
Raising awareness on key issues like agriculture, health, education, and fundamental rights to empower citizens in rural and urban areas.
