A social organization was established on 2nd June 2014, named as 'Dinbandhu Gramin Vikas Sanstha, Deori’ (DGV Sanstha, Deori) with the generous aim of developing urban and rural areas. The founder of this organization is Mr. Kuldip Lanjewar (President of DGV Sanstha).

About Dinbandhu Gramin Vikas Sanstha

Founded in 2014, this organization has really got a boost since 2016! The organization started various social activities from this year. While implementing social activities in the society, what is the problem of the youth, who are mainly the future of the country in this area? After observing it, it was realized that the youth of the Naxal-affected areas of the district need proper guidance to achieve success in the competitive examinations. Considering the need of the youth for the economic and social development of the region, no such workshop has been held till date in the Naxal-affected areas of the district.

Observing the situation, the workshop was held in a Naxal-affected area and it was well responded by the youth. The movement for competitive examinations started by the institute in the Naxal-affected areas was being supported by the college youth and the organization was inspired to work in the field of competitive examinations. In case of competitive examinations, the institute did not stop only by conducting guidance workshops, but also for the general students who want to study for competitive examinations. With the help of Deori and special initiative by the organization, a public library “Adarsh Abhyasika Kendra” were set up in the vacant building of the local self-governing body at Durga Chowk, Deori without any financial help from the government. All type of study material available for all type of competitive examinations, necessary magazines, newspapers along with excellent management facility were also be provided and guidance of experienced officers under the ‘Officer of the Week’ initiative were offered.

As soon as they came to know about the establishment of study centers in the taluka and other places in the taluka, the youths studying for competitive examinations and other examinations started getting admission and the students were getting proper help in time to achieve success in competitive examinations. This innovative initiative carried out by the organization in the Naxal-affected areas was greeted by various officers and office bearers. The result of this innovative initiative taken by the institute for the students was received by the institute in the year 2018 in the form of students who became successful in the field of banking. Due to this success in one year, the students who got admission in the study center, got re-determined to study. In the year 2019, the candidates successfully achieved their success and joined in various Government departments like Soil & Water Conservation, Railway, Agriculture, Revenue departments.

Yashwant and his parents were felicitated in the presence of Hon’ble Collector in order to inspire others in the study center without stopping here. Students are gathering to the study center set up through public participation. While serving in the field of competitive examinations, the institute is not stopping here. At present the organization is not only working in the field of competitive examinations but also organizing new voter registration camps for the youth and distributing voter ID cards to them, organizing blood donation camps to help the needy, organizing village sanitation campaigns, providing employment to educated unemployed candidates, women empowerment. To provide training, guidance to the citizens in rural areas on forest conservation and water conservation, to organize innovative activities on the anniversaries and anniversaries of great men for the purpose of inculcating reading habits in students, self-employment training for rural women, participating in national programs of Central and State Governments. As organizations are working in various social sectors and all this is being done with the cooperation of people’s representatives, office bearers, officials and distinguished citizens of the region. There is no doubt that the name of Naxal-affected Deori taluka will appear on the map of the country by paving the way for the future and this is the main goal of the organization.
